Rose M. Cedar

Rose M. Cedar, 78,  formerly of 113 Euclid Ave., passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 17, 1932, in upstate New York, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Zlosel) Bradley.
In 1953, she married Warren Ellsworth Cedar who preceded her in death.
She attended schools in Kane. 
She worked at The Harvest House in The Bradford Mall, Perkins Restaurant and Corning Glass. She then worked for Zippo Manufacturing, from where she retired in January of 1998.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Michelle) Cedar of Derrick City, James Cedar of Jamestown, N.Y. and Curtis (Cheryl)  Cedar of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Theresa  Farnsworth of Kane; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, Erica, Robert, Richard, Ashleigh and Amber Cedar; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Ann Cedar in 1989; three brothers, Joe Bradley, John Bradley, Frank Bradley; and two sisters, Mary Schultz and Jennie Ulyan. 
Friends are invited to call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant officiating. Burial will follow in St. Callistus Cemetery in Kane. 
Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the McKean County Unit of the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
