Second-graders hold 'mock election'

Students in all four second-grade classes at the Kane Elementary School participated Tuesday in a "Mock Election" for president of the United State. Wearing red, white and blue patriotic visors, the students include, left to right: Cole Walker, Cora Jekielek, Jayna Johnson and Hillary McClatchy. It was a close race for president in the "Mock Election" with incumbent Democrat Barack Obama defeating Republican Mitt Romney by a vote of 52-48.
