Senior Center honors veterans

The Kane Senior Center honored veterans on Tuesday with a program and certificates. The Rev. Nancy Page of Kane accompanied and led the seniors in some rousing patriotic songs. Poems and readings were done by Mabel Johnson, Beverly Sivak and Kathy Payne. Honored veterans include, kneeling: Kenneth Holmes; back row, left to right: John "Tyke” Hulings, Leonard Nelson, Robert Johnson, Laverne “Jack” Vanderneck, John McNeil, Jerome Brendel, Harold Andrus and William Reinard. Missing from photo are Richard Swanson, Charles Beatty, Charles D’Angelo, Richard Johnson, Robert Lupole and William Bennett.
