Submitted Carson Whiteman sports an honorary balloon bouquet in front of the Accelerated Reader Wall of Fame at the Kane Elementary School. He recently set the school record for the most books read and tested on in the Accelerated Reader Program in one year. Amazingly, Carson took 509 quizzes on various titles and read 414,892 words. Carson is the son of proud parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Whiteman of Kane.
