Should council raise taxes?

The Kane Borough Council has adopted a budget calling for an increase in the tax rate. Many residents, especially senior citizens on fixed incomes, stand to see their property taxes rise. Should council raise taxes or seek more ways to cut expenses and services?

No they should not raise taxes any higher than they already are. Council should have to live within their means like all of us do now. I believe the residents of our town already put enough money into it to run this town more than adequate if that money were used and invested wisely. after all look around you how much do you think the residents of this small town with no industry have to spare?
