Skate/bike ramps remain closed in Kane

Photo by Ted Lutz – The wooden skate/bike ramps at Glenwood Park in Kane have been repaired by volunteers, but remain closed indefinitely. Insurance issues still need to be resolved, according to discussion Tuesday at a meeting of the Kane Borough Council.

Despite extensive repair work, the wooden skate/bike ramps at Glenwood Park in Kane remain closed indefinitely.
Many donations have been received for new surface materials at the youth facility. Volunteers—both teens and adults—have been handling the repair work.
The main issue now is insurance.
