St. Matthews Preschool hangs with Smokey

October 15, 2012

St. Matthews Preschool came to the fire department on Wednesday and watched a movie (cartoon) about how Smokey the Bear came to be and they enjoyed doughnuts and milk which was provided by the department. Then Smokey paid them all a visit and they got to go through the trucks. When it came time for them to leave the kids all received water bottles, coloring calendars and various other items. Firefighters Ed Fisher, Shawn Howell, Doug Robinson and Robert (buddy) Green all took part along with two of the active members, Lynette Beatty and Vicky Robinson.
