Top generals at funeral Major General Randall Marchi (left) and Major General Wesley Craig (right) participate in the private burial Thursday for Staff Sgt. Kenneth VanGiesen of Kane at the Gibbs Hill Cemetery near Ludlow. Marchi is the commander of the 28th Infantry Division of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Craig as adjutant general is the head of the entire Pennsylvania National Guard. VanGiesen was killed July 18 while serving in Afghanistan with the Pennsylvania National Guard.
