Thanksgiving in a Box

November 21, 2012

Pictured are Kane Area Middle School National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) students who were part of the "Thanksgiving in a Box" food drive that NJHS does every year around Thanksgiving. All of the students in KAMS homerooms are asked to put together a complete family dinner for 18 needy families in our school district. These dinners include turkeys, pies, stuffing, and all the items for a full course family dinner. The dinners are than delivered by KAMS faculty members after school to the families.
