Timothy A. Brechtel

Timothy A. Brechtel, 63, of 217 Welsh St., Kane, died Friday morning, Dec. 3, 2010 at the Kane Community Hospital after being stricken at home.
Born Sept. 19, 1947 in Ridgway, he was the son of Arthur and Lucille Rezmerski Brechtel. On Feb. 8, 1975 in Kane, he married Sherry L. Stewart, who survives.
Mr. Brechtel worked in the lab at Stackpole Corp. in St. Marys for over 20 years.
He attended St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane, and was a fireman for 47 years in Kane and Wilcox, having served as chief for the latter. He also belonged to the Central District Firemen.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Molly Ann Brechtel of Erie and a daughter-in-law, Tiffanie Brechtel of Kane. He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a son, Arthur T. Brechtel in 2008.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Callistus Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, as Celebrant.  Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Rassellas.
