Saturday night was a special night for these two ladies, it was their night to be honored for many years of hard work, caring and just plain loving what they do and doing it to their very best.

Shirley James, seated, was named the 2008 Business Person of the Year and Peg Coulter, standing, the 2008 Citizen of the Year. They each received a plaque from the Chamber of Commerce and a citation from Congressman John Peterson and Representative Kathy Rapp, and a letter from Mayor Doug Caldwell.

James and Coulter where honored at a banquet held Saturday evening at the Kane Country Club with 90 people in attendance.
