Several cases involving criminal charges have been filed with District Judge Michael Kennedy of Kane.

Information on the following cases is from official court documents.

•    William Adelbert Logue Jr., 21, of Crosby is charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, two counts of simple assault and other charges.

State Police Trooper Leslie E. Oates filed the charges, which are headed to McKean County Court. Logue has until Aug. 21 to enter a plea in court.

Logue is free after posting $5,000 bail. No further details of the alleged assault are listed in the court documents.

•    Arnold Dean Good II, 36, of Bradford is charged with forgery for allegedly altering two prescriptions from the office of Dr. Linda Rettger. The defendant tried to fill the forged prescriptions for oxydocone and percocett at the Rite Aid store in Kane.

One bogus prescription carried Good’s name. The second carried the name of Sandy Buchanan of Mt. Jewett.

Kane Police Officer Derrick Snyder filed the charges against Good.

Judge Kennedy has issued a warrant for the arrest of Good.

•    Mattie M. Knight, 24, of 518 Biddle St., Apt. 1, is charged with issuing a bad check for $87.18 at the County National Bank in Kane.

She waived her preliminary hearing before Judge Kennedy and has until Aug. 7 to enter a plea in county court.

Kane Police Officer Snyder filed the charge.

•    Lynton Eugene Turner II, 32, who is listed with a Coudersport address, faces charges linked with an alleged theft in Mt. Jewett.

Turner is charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He allegedly took five antique lighters from Dale Allen Walker. The value of the theft is listed at $100. The alleged theft took place in the upper apartment at 137 W. Main St., Mt. Jewett.

State Police Officer Matthew Petrof placed the charges.

Public Defender Stephanie Vetternburg represents the defendant.

According to court information, the defendant resides at 516 ½ W. Allegheny Ave., Emporium.

Turner has until Aug. 21 to enter a plea in county court.

Turner reportedly was placed in McKean County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

•    Adam Howard, 44, of 526 Biddle St., Kane, is charged with theft of services for allegedly turning on his water service after it had been terminated for failure to pay a borough sewer bill.

The meter had been shut off and tagged by Pennsylvania American Water, according to court information. Howard reportedly owed $438.75 for sewage. After he illegally turned the water back on, he used another 700 gallons of water and now owes the borough $506.02, court records show.

Kane Police Chief Brian Hillard filed the charge.

Judge Kennedy has issued a warrant for the arrest of Howard.

•    Bill Joe Arthurs, 24, of Route 6 and Cleveland Avenue, Hazel Hurst, faces charges for allegedly sending nude photographs to a 13-year-old in Mt. Jewett via a cell phone.

The photographs depict nudity and sexual conduct, according to court records.

State Police Trooper Adam M. Borden filed the charges.

Coudersport attorney Donna Albright is representing Arthurs, who has until Sept. 4 to enter a plea in county court.

•    Roger Keith Lamberson, 31, of 333 Chase St., Apt. 1, Kane, faces several charges for allegedly bilking the Kwik Fill store on North Fraley Street, Kane, out of gasoline for his 1989 black Dodge sedan.

Court records show that the defendant twice asked a store employee to fill his car with gasoline. While the gas was being pumped, he went inside to pay and told the clerk at the counter that he was getting only $5 in gas.

Lamberson received 9.5 gallons on his first stop for gas and 15.56 gallons on a second stop four days later.
