Vincent Frederick Polvino, age 77, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1933 in Lockport, N.Y. Vincent grew up in Cuba, N.Y. and graduated from Cuba Central High class of 1951. He married Patricia Nelson in 1955 and graduated Albany College of Pharmacy in June 1956. Vincent owned and operated drug stores in Syracuse, N.Y., Kane and Las Vegas, Nev. He was a member of the Italian Catholic Association and the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Polvino.
He is survived by a son, Richard, of Snowfake, Ariz. (wife Bhavani); a daughter, Carolyn Orsinelli of Las Vegas, Nev. (husband martin); and eight grandchildren, Tara, Kara, Troy, Quinton, Luke Shayen, Delsin and Destiny.
A funeral mass will be held today, Jan. 25, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Viator Catholic Church with visitation at Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas immediately following until 1:30 p.m.
