Wolves dominate Rams in 41-0 shutout win

October 13, 2012

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane's Loren Kumher closes in on Johnsonburg quarterback Frank Kocjancic during Friday's game in Kane. Kumher and the Wolves dominated the contest from the opening kick, jumping out to a 26-0 lead after one quarter. Kane went on to win 41-0 to improve to 4-3 on the season. Next up for Kumher and the Wolves is Ridgway on the road.

The Kane Wolves and Johnsonburg Rams both entered Friday night’s game coming off of huge, emotional wins last week but it was the Wolves who pulled away with a 41-0 shutout victory.
Kane head coach Todd Silfies’ Wolves came out firing on all cylinders as soon as the whistle blew on Friday night while Johnsonburg seemed to come out flat after last week’s win over arch-rival Ridgway.
