The Wolves' freshman grabbed the kick inside the 20-yard line, ran across the field and up the Kane sideline to the end zone for the score. The return put the home team up 27-0 after Dillon Mattis' extra point kick, and Kane cruised to the 48-6 victory.

The Kane junior varsity football team jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 48-6 win over the visiting Smethport Hubbers on Monday night at Paul R Miller Stadium.
The Wolves, under the direction of Coach Mike Szymanski, had five different players score touchdowns in the win. Tyler Rolick put the home team on the scoreboard early with a 27-yard touchdown run, followed by an extra point kick by Dillon Mattis, who just finished a soccer game 10 minutes before kickoff.
Kane would add to its lead late in the first quarter on a 20-yard pass from Jack Kocjancic to John English. The extra point kick failed but the Wolves led 13-0. Kane would score again less than a minute before halftime, when Rolick ran the ball into the end zone from the seven-yard line. Mattis’ kick was good, putting the home team up 20-0 going into the break.
