Wolves look to knock Crusaders from ranks of the unbeaten

October 5, 2012

Photo by Amy Geer – Coach Todd Silfies said the key to success in this Friday's game against undefeated ECC is for the Wolves' defense to be able to stop the run. Pictured here in the Curwensville game are Kane's linebackers and defensive line, who will be trying to hold the Crusaders in check. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Paul R Miller Stadium.

For the third straight week, the Kane Wolves football team faces an undefeated team. The Wolves played with both the Brockway Rovers and Curwensville Golden Tide until late in the game, but came up short against each of them. Kane head coach Todd Silfies’ team hopes it can seal the deal this Friday when they take on Elk County Catholic (5-0) at Paul R Miller Stadium in the Wolves’ homecoming game.
