Wolves look to rebound against 4-0 Golden Tide

The Kane Wolves lost a 52-40 shootout to undefeated Brockway last Friday night at Paul R Miller Stadium. The Rovers took the opening kickoff and marched downfield for an early score. The Wolves offense answered back, but that set the tone for the night—with Brockway going ahead, the Wolves scoring to stay within striking distance. Unfortunately, the Wolves couldn’t keep up with the scoring pace and the Rovers sealed the victory with a touchdown in the final minutes.
The Wolves, now 2-2 after the tough loss, will have their hands full again this week, facing the undefeated Curwensville Golden Tide. Curwensville pounded Johnsonburg 41-0 on Friday, a week after the Rams upset Coudersport. The Tide’s strength is their dominating running attack, behind a strong offensive line.
