The Wolves came up on the short end of a 52-40 decision despite a touchdown catch by Kocjancic in the corner of the end zone. The Wolves, now 2-2 on the season, will try to rebound next Friday when they travel to Curwensville in another AML South matchup.

The Kane Wolves welcomed the 3-0 Brockway Rovers to town on Friday night in the first AML South matchup of the season. The Rovers offense scored early and often, however, as the Wolves answered most of the scores, but came up a little short in the fourth quarter as they lost 52-40 to fall to 2-2 on the season.
The Rovers, under first-year coach Frank Zocco, took the kickoff and proceeded to march 72 yards downfield in 11 plays. The big play in the drive was a 20-yard run by Chad Melillo. Anthony Benson put the visitors on the board when he took the handoff from quarterback Alec Shaffer-Doan and went eight yards for the score with 7:49 left in the opening quarter. All-state kicker Phil Esposito added the extra point for the quick 7-0 lead.
