The boys soccer team came out inspired and ready to play against a good Coudersport team that beat them earlier in the year 5-0 but ended up with a 2-1 loss Monday against the Falcons.
Both teams found the footing very tough as several players were slipping and unable to get good control of the ball. The visiting Falcons would strike first with 21:10 left in the first half. They would take the one-goal lead into halftime.
The visitors would add another goal with 32:56 in the game and put the home team in a tough situation. As both teams went back and forth with their scoring opportunities, Kane finally broke through as Ryan Peterson centered the ball and Pete Sirianni found the net with 20:29 left in the game.
