Submitted Andrew Nicklas, 7-year-old son of Keith and Kelly Nicklas of School Street, Wetmore Township, volunteers to operate his father's backhoe to dig a hole at the East Kane Park near his home. The hole is for the base for a school bus "spring-jumper" at the park. Federal community-development funds were used to purchase the park equipment. Volunteers donated their time to install the playground equipment.
