These third-graders joined with other students at the Kane Elementary School to take part in the Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) program Friday at the school. Under the program, every student at the school has the opportunity to select a book to keep and read. These young readers include, left to right, front row: Melinda Foster, Shania Carney and Ronnie Costanzo; back row: Cody Eschrich, Bryce Bizzak and Thomas Szymanski. The program was the second of three RIF days held during the school year.
