Kane Elks Lodge conducts Flag Day ceremony

Kane Elks Lodge #329 held their annual Flag Day Ceremony on Friday evening at the gazebo in Evergreen Park across from the lodge on Chestnut Street. The day holds special significance to the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, as each lodge holds an observance of the day. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by the Second Continental Congress.
