A preliminary hearing for a Kane man who allegedly threatened to kill his girlfriend ended just six minutes after it began Monday in Kane District Court.
Matthew J. Calloway, 29, of 213 Johnson St., acting as his own attorney, decided to waive the hearing and send his case to McKean County Court.
He is charged with making terroristic threats, assault, harassment and criminal mischief. He remains in the McKean County Jail near Smethport in lieu of $30,000 cash bail. His last day to enter a plea in county court is July 2.
