The Wolves were hot behind the 3-point line early, knocking down seven from behind the arc, including three by Cleer. The Rovers outscored the home team 18-8 in the third quarter and the Wolves were unable to make up the deficit.

The Kane Wolves boys’ varsity basketball team started out hot in Wednesday night’s game against the Brockway Rovers. The Wolves led by as many as eight in the first quarter and 12 in the second before a big third quarter by the Rovers gave the visitors a slim lead going into the fourth quarter in the Wolves’ Den.
Brockway took advantage of a few late Kane turnovers and hit their free throws down the stretch to leave with the hard-fought 72-64 victory.
