Mt. Jewett mayor won't seek re-election this year

MT. JEWETT – Mt. Jewett Mayor Robin LeViere has confirmed that he won't seek re-election for another four-year term.
He was elected in 2009 to a term that expires Dec. 31.
Candidates for election this year will be circulating party nominating petitions Feb. 19. The petitions will be filed next month with the county Board of Elections. The primary election is in May.
