Ann Jane Cook, 90, of 200 Poplar St., Kane, died Sunday evening, Feb. 10, 2013 at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where she resided for the past few days.
Born April 12, 1922 in Kane, she was the daughter of Thomas A. and Cecelia Nicklas Cannon. On Aug. 25, 1942 in Kane, she married Neil H. Cook, Sr., who died in 1980.
Mrs. Cook was a bookkeeper for Ron Cook Garage, her son's business, for many years.Â She also was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Kane.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Hutchins of Winfield, W.Va.; two sons, Neil Cook Jr. and Ron Cook, both of Kane; and a brother, Thomas Cannon of Kane.Â Seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by three sisters.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at which time a memorial service will be held there with the rev. William LaVelle, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.Â Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
