The Lady Wolves advance to the semifinals of the D9 AA playoffs with a 46-32 win over the Golden Tide. Kane will face Redbank Valley at 7 p.m. Friday at Clarion High School.

The Kane Lady Wolves overcame a sluggish start in Wednesday night’s contest against the Curwensville Golden Tide to come away with a 46-32 win in the opening round of the District 9 AA playoffs.
The Lady Wolves played the Tide 11 days ago in a Saturday morning makeup game, and shot horrendously, narrowly escaping with the win. Wednesday night appeared to be heading the same way but the Lady Wolves outscored the visitors 20-5 in the third quarter to take control of the contest.
