February 24, 2013

Photo by Ted Lutz – John Mehalko (center) has been named as the “Volunteer-of-the-Year” at the Kane Senior Center. Taking part in the ceremony Saturday at the center are Don Payne (left), president of the board for the Senior Center; and Beth Lenaway (right), director of the center, who is holding the certificate given to the honoree. The program featured a dinner and cake (held by Mehalko).

To recognize Mehalko for his dedicated service, the Senior Center has selected him as its “Volunteer-of-the-Year.”
