Mr. Harry D. Hamilton

Mr. Harry D. Hamilton, 83, passed into the next life at 4:30 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the Kane Lutheran Home following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 6, 1930 in Jay Township, Elk County to the late Robert W. and Mary E. Moore Hamilton. A lifelong area resident, Harry served in the Army Air Force as an electronics specialist. This led to his lifelong hobby of radios, MCs, and CBs.
He is survived by a daughter, Berniece Robinson, Lancaster; three sons, Richard D. Hamilton, Kane, Robert W. Hamilton, Ludlow, and Gary E. Hamilton, Florida; two daughters-in-law, Melanie Gadley, Kane, and Linda Roberts, Ludlow; a brother, Gilbert Hamilton, Hutchins; grandchildren Larry Hamilton, Lori Stout, Vicky Campogiani, Sondra Klaiber, Cassidy Hamilton, Cherokee Hamilton, Robert Hamilton Jr., and Charlie Hamilton; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded by his wife, Bessi L. Hamilton; a grandson, Richard Hamilton Jr.; a sister, Ruth Hamilton; and a brother, Lee Hamilton.
There will be no visitation and a 2 p.m. Memorial Service will be held March 24, 2013 at the Mt. Jewett, Assembly of God Church.
The Borden-Lloyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
