The Colonial rewards students for reading success

March 28, 2013

Pictured from right to left are Brock Wensel (kindergarten), Mitchell Morgan (1st grade), Jayna Johnson (2nd grade), Hailey Tuttle (3rd grade), Mason Zuzek (4th grade), and Braden Doughery (5th grade). Each month the Kane Elementary School is holding a prize drawing for students who complete their read and respond homework. For every week of completed read and respond homework students receive a ticket and chance to win the drawing. The drawing is sponsored by area restaurants that have generously donated certificates for each grade level winner. This month’s reward comes from the Colonial. The school district would like to acknowledge the Colonial for supporting our students as well as the Kane Elementary school’s SFA program.
