Adventures of a wildlife photographer-reflections

Anyone out there who follows my columns might think that I’m a retired guy with not a care in the world;  traveling to exotic locations, spending countless hours in the forests, tracking down wildlife and birdlife in the pursuit of that perfect photograph. It does sound like that even to me, but the truth is I still work, and my photography is just a very enjoyable hobby. My travels are usually small vacations where I always carry a camera, collecting memories for future sharing with anyone who will listen. I have been blessed with good health and a desire to show people the nature that surrounds us each and every day. Some people aren’t so lucky, but also have that same desire to bring a smile to everyone’s face. I’m writing this column to share a story of a hero of mine. Her name is Brenda, and the world should know about her.
