Kane Day School visits kindergarten

The four-year-old classes at the Kane Day School, located at the Tabor Lutheran Church, got to visit with their upcoming kindergarten teachers. The teachers along with Mrs. Wolfe, Reading Specialist, visited the classes to administer the Phelps Kindergarten Readiness Scale Test to children. The teachers took time to initiate conversations with the children shortly after the arrived at school. Then Mrs. Tunnal and Mrs. Feikls left to visit and test the children at another preschool.  Mrs. Wolfe, Mrs. Pusateri, Mrs. Lorenzo, and Mrs. Smith stayed to test the Kane Day School children. This test is one step closer to the children entering the Kane Elementary School in the Fall.
