Lady Wolves lose in home opener

April 23, 2013

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane third baseman Cheyenne Wheatley turns to throw the ball to third base after a bunt in Tuesday's game against Brockway. The Lady Wolves trailed 4-0 going into the seventh inning against the Lady Rovers, but the visitors took advantage of some Kane miscues and ended up winning 14-0.

The Kane Lady Wolves softball team had to wait nearly a month from the official start of the PIAA’s spring season to play their first game at home. Unfortunately for the home crowd, the game wasn’t worth the wait. Although the weather was beautiful, the Lady Wolves played their worst game of the season and ended up losing to Brockway 14-0.
