Shirley Mae Bradybaugh Chittester

Shirley Mae Bradybaugh Chittester, 83, of 1152 Lime Rd., Townsend, Ga. passed away on April 25, 2013.
She was born in Kane on Aug. 1, 1929, daughter of the late Harry and Pearl (Quick) Bradybaugh. In February of 1950 she married Donald E. Chittester who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Chittester had worked at the Shirt Factory and Houston Electronics and was the manager of the Arlington Hotel in Kane.
She is survived by two daughters; Donna (Bob) Palmer of Hazel Hurst and Cindy (Hugh) Rockwell of Kane; four grandchildren, Rose (Ronnie) Kimes Barnes of Townsend, Ga., Paul Kimes of Kane, Carrie (Daniel) Dempsey of Russell City and Scott (Cassie) Rockwell of Johnsonburg; 16 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Rich Bradybaugh of Mich.; two sisters, Irene Stanton of Kane and Phyllis Blystone of Darien, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, three sons and one sister
There was a viewing on April 26 at the Edo Miller & Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, Ga. Locally there will be a memorial service and reception on Thursday, May 9 at the Arlington Hotel in Kane at 6 p.m.
