Hubbers defeat Wolves at home

May 10, 2013

Kane's Tyler Burdick (9) gets congratulated by his teammates after hitting a three-run home run in Friday night's game against Smethport.

The Kane Wolves’ baseball team trailed the Smethport Hubbers 10-6 going into the top of the seventh inning before the storm hit. While Mother Nature unleashed terrific winds and driving rain as the game was called, the visiting Hubbers unleashed a barrage at the plate, scoring seven runs before the game was called with the score 17-6.
