The DuBois Central Catholic broke open a close game with an 11-run sixth inning to spoil Senior Recognition for the Kane Wolves’ baseball team. The Wolves, led by seniors Nate Allen, Tyler Burdick, Tyler Ennis, Loren Kumher, Andrew O’Rourke and Dan Park trailed by only two, 5-3, when the visitors exploded for their big inning. The Cardinals ended up winning the game by a score of 16-3 after six innings at Pat Santilli Field on a cold, misty Tuesday afternoon.
