Adventure of a wildlife photographer "Chickadees"

May 22, 2013

Photo by Rocky Holland – These brave little powerhouses have little fear of humans.

Picture this (pardon the pun), you’re sitting in the woods, high power rifle or monster shotgun across your lap, waiting to make that trophy kill. You have enough bullets to start another war, a knife in every pocket, a super duty GPS letting you know if you move an inch or so, food in every pocket, night vision goggles, and all you need is the perfect shot, which should be easy, since your scope can see all the way to Alaska. All of a sudden out of nowhere comes a tiny little Chickadee, lands on the barrel of your gun, takes a good look at you, probably thinks you don’t look so tough, and flies away. Sort of brings you back to earth real quick, doesn’t it?
