North Central keeping close watch on state budget talks

Photo by Colin Deppen – Wednesday's meeting of the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission included updates on the status of the Pennsylvania state budget discussions as well as approval of numerous small business loans.

RIDGWAY – With North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission voting at last month's meeting to take out a nearly quarter of a million dollar line of credit needed to cover expenses like payroll, bills, and rents, the organization has kept a watchful eye on the governor's 2014 budget proposal to see what the future holds.
