Highland Township Old Fashioned Festival to be Held Saturday and Sunday

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top climbers during Sunday's competition in James City. Other competitions taking place on Sunday are a greased watermelon relay, a hot dog eating contest, a potato sack race and an egg toss.

Area residents can take a short drive and take advantage of some fine entertainment this weekend in James City. The Highland Township Recreational Association will hold their annual festival this weekend.
A variety of music, food and vendors will be available on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as drawings for adults and games, including a bouncy house, for children. Booths will be scattered throughout the area by the ballfield.
