Richard "Rick" A. Walter

Richard "Rick" A. Walter, 71, of 130 Greeves St., died Tuesda, July 23, 2013 at Sena-Kean Manor where he was a recent resident.
Born July 26, 1941, in Kane, he was a son of the late John and Dina Caruso Walter.
Rick was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church and belonged to the Kane BPOE #329 and the Kane Country Club. He was an avid golfer and an ardent supporter of Kane Area High School sports.
Before his retirement, he was employed by Stackpole in Kane.
Surviving are two sons, Dave (Lynne) Walter and Dewey (Danielle) Walter, both of Kane; three granddaughters, Kandice Walter, Kalie Walter and Sadie Walter, all of Kane; a grandson, Ben Walter of Kane; a sister, Phyllis Walter of Kane; and two brothers, Don "Red" Walter of Reynoldsville and Mike "Ike" Walter of Kane.
Friends will be received Friday, July 26 from 9-11 a.m. in the gathering space at St. Callistus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kane Elks Scholarship Fund  or a charity of the donor's choice.
