Jacqueline N. "Cookie" Nelson

Jacqueline N. "Cookie" Nelson, 65, of 381 South Settlement Rd., Kane, a longtime resident of Warren, died Friday morning, Aug. 2, 2013 at the Warren Manor a day after being admitted.
Born Sept. 9, 1947 in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of Jack M. and Lois E. Hancock Walter. On March 31, 2012 in Kiantone, N.Y., she married James P. Nelson, who survives.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kane, and enjoyed making crafts.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five children, including daughter Lynda Eighmey of Cochranton; two brothers, Jay Walter and Mike Walter, both of Gifford; two sisters, Joan Graves of Gifford and Rebecca Rogowski of Sheffield, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by a stepdaughter, Heather Muisiner of Kane.
She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by an infant daughter.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Monday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., at which time a service will be held there with the rev. Bruce Kumher, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and the rev. Bob Lynch, retired pastor there, co-officiating. Interment will be in Gibbs Hill Cemetery in Ludlow, following cremation.
