Delay is costly in Kane sewer re-financing plan

September 17, 2013

Photo by Ted Lutz – Members of the Kane Borough Sewer Authority pore over documents Monday at a meeting at the borough building. The group includes, clockwise from left: Frank Wojcik, Phil Lingenfelter and Dave Peterson (head of table), authority members; and Ed Sleeman (right), a Kane certified public accountant (CPA) who serves as the non-voting treasurer of the authority. Members Howard Kane and Jim McCloskey did not attend the meeting.

A three-month delay in re-financing debt has resulted in a cost of $38,000 to the Kane Borough Sewer Authority.
