Kane performs well at Bradford Invitational

September 25, 2013

Kane's Chris Hunt leads the pack during last weekend's Bradford Invitational. Hunt, a senior for the Wolves, led wire-to-wire, breaking the tape in 17:22.

On Saturday, the Kane Wolves cross country team competed at the Bradford Invitational. Eight teams were in attendance. The Kane Girls Varsity race started off the day with Kane finishing fifth overall led by Taylor Beimel who finished eighth with a time of 22:29. This was Taylor’s first race of the season and she ran a strong race and has a good chance to be a four-time state qualifier. Kelsey Johnson 23rd and Maria Newton 29th also medaled with times of 24:50 and 25:48 respectively. Olivia Blackmore 26:34 and Allie Taylor 34:36 finished the scoring for Kane.
