Bomb scare probed at McKean County Courthouse

Photo by Les Jordan Jr. – This was the scene Wednesday morning after a call to the 911 center reported a bomb at the McKean County Courthouse in Smethport. Streets were closed in the vicinity of the courthouse until three bomb-sniffing dogs went through the building. County employees were allowed in the courthouse about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
