Wolves face Raiders in D9 playoff opener

November 7, 2013

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane's Jamie Lingenfelter brings down a Sheffield ball carrier during last Friday's AML title game with some help from teammate Jeff Kocjancic. Lingenfelter leads the Wolves defense with 117 tackles, the second highest total in District 9.

The 10-0 Kane Wolves host the 6-4 Brookville Raiders on Friday night in a District 9 AA semifinal game. The records mean little, however, as the two teams have no common opponents in 2013. The winner of the game advances to next week’s district finals, while the loser’s season comes to a close.
