Dennis D. Rockwell

Dennis D. Rockwell, 66 of 73 Glassworks Rd., formerly of Sheffield, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at the Kane Community Hospital.    
Born July 13, 1947 in Kane he was a son of Harold and Dorothy Avery Rockwell. On March 11, 2006 in Kane he married Esther E. Sacherich who survives.
Mr. Rockwell was a member of the Sheffield VFW and Kane Eagles, Aerie #307. Served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He had been a truck driver and was a laborer for Bob Cummins Construction Company in Bradford.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Marjorie Rockwell, DuBois; three sons, Ryan Rockwell and Todd Rockwell, both of Kane, and Matthew Riegel of Warren; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three brothers, and a son, Eric Rockwell.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the Ronald McDonald Funeral Home, Inc., 103 South Fraley St., Kane, where funeral and committal services will be held at 2pm with the Rev. W. Craig Smith, pastor of the Mt. Jewett United Methodist Church officiating.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Sheffield VFW or a charity of the donors choice.
