Jean Richardson

Jean Richardson, 84, of 86 Richardson Ln., Kane, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, 2013 at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born Nov. 13, 1929 in Parker, she was the daughter of Melvin and Helen Hackett Sloan. On Nov. 24, 1978 in Kane, she married Floyd L. Richardson, who died in 1999.
A homemaker, Jean was an avid gardener.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald R. Kerr of Atlanta, Ga., Jerry Richter of Pontiac, Mich. and Thomas Kerr of Kane, plus four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, besides her husband and parents, are a brother, Richard Sloan, and a sister, Margaret Crum.
Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon, at which time a service will be held there with the rev. Brian Aul, pastor of the East Kane United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
