Hamilton Township supervisors appoint Johnson tax collector

Photo by Ted Lutz – The South Hillside Avenue Bridge, pictured here in a file photo, is again in need of repair, according to state officials. Hamilton Township has been notified that repairs are needed to the deck of the Ludlow bridge, as well as the substructure.

HAMILTON TWP. – The Hamilton Township supervisors appointed Ludlow resident Rodney Johnson as tax collector for the township during Monday’s regular monthly meeting, replacing the recently resigned Claire Ann Depto. Depto, who held the position for 13 years, was re-elected to the position during November’s election, but resigned the post when she also was elected as a director of the Kane School Board.
