Helen K. Micheau

Helen K. Micheau, 89, of  108 Wetmore Ave., Kane, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at Warren Manor in Warren.
Born April 6, 1924, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Verna Tussey Wade. On Jan. 5, 1946, in Kane, she married Clarence W. Micheau who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Micheau, a graduate of the Kane High School, class of 1942, was an active member of the First United Methodist Church where she belonged to the United Methodist Women, the Joanna Circle, and served as a trustee.  She also was a member of the choir for 40 years.
She was a sales clerk at the former Suzanne Shoppe for 22 years  and later served as a volunteer at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop for 19 years.
Surviving are two sons, Gary (Nancy) Micheau of Salem, Ore. and Randy (Tina) Micheau of Chino Valley, Ariz.; a daughter, Robin (Bernie) Lundberg of Kane; five grandsons, Eric Lundberg, Troy Micheau, Quinton Micheau, Grant Micheau and Jonathon Micheau; three granddaughters, Carissa Lundberg, Grace Micheau and Cassandra Pettit; and a great-granddaughter, Callia Lundberg.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband and parents, was an infant son, Ralph Micheau.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at the First United Methodist Church, 112 Greeves St.,  with the Rev. William R. LaVelle Jr., pastor, and the Rev. W. Craig Smith officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
