Elk County Catholic defeats Kane boys on hardwood

December 14, 2013

Photo by Amy Geer – Kane sophomore Andy Bundy heads up the court after getting a rebound in Friday night's game with Elk County Catholic. The Wolves came up on the short end of a 67-32 decision. The Kane boys are now 1-3 on the young season and travel to North Clarion on Monday.

The Elk County Catholic Crusaders had four players in double figures in Friday night’s 67-32 win over Kane in the Wolves’ Den. Wolves’ first-year head coach Matt Gasbarre wanted to slow down the ECC offense, and it worked for a time, but the Crusaders got a number of transition baskets late in the first quarter to get the offense on track.
